I decided to open the Recommended Sites category with a photographer whose work I admire since I first stumbled upon his Digital-Monochrome site.
Martin Henson lives in West Yorkshire, has been into photography since his early days and shoots mainly landscapes. About four years ago he made the big leap into digital and has been devoted to it ever since. Through the years, he developed his own black and white conversion techinques, which he decided to share with the world in the form of downloadable pdf files. He’s also very active in the forum he dedicated to Black and White, where members can find help and share infos on all areas of B/W photography.
A section of the site I particularly enjoyed was the one called Poetry to Images where a few of Martin’s photos are accompanied by poems by poet Elisabeth Lynn Smith.
If you like Black and White landscape photography and would also like to learn the techniques behind the image, then Martin’s Digital-Monochrome is for you.

Thanks, too, for visiting my photoblog and leaving a comment. I appreciate it, and glad you enjoyed my photos.
