Jeff Curto’s website and podcast
April 9, 2007 by sil63

During this Easter week-end I decided I would explore the - to me - rather new world of podcasts and, among others, came across Jeff Curto’s Camera Position podcast.
I felt an instinctive sympathy for Jeff and his beautiful photography. Apart from the unquestionable quality of his work, what really draw my attention was his love for Italy and the Italian landscape and architecture. Being Italian myself I was positively impressed by his passion, up to the point I e-mailed him my appreciation and quite unexpectedly got back a very nice e-mail from him.
This is how on his site Jeff Curto talks about his love for Italy.
In Italy, I find a culture that celebrates the beauty of the everyday and the ancient.
I am interested in how Italian things; structures, people, plants and art tend to be of the land; the buildings rising up as if they belonged there along with the poplars, the grape vines and the sheep. I try to use light, lens and time to bring the cool mornings and hazy afternoons home with me.
So don’t waste your time any further and go visit his website
Coming to his podcast, Camera Position , I found his articles very informative and a pleasure to listen to. I’m sure you’ll think so too once you begin following them.
