Long time no hear

It’s been quite a long time since I last updated this blog… As I wrote here I lost my mom last August. It was the sad epilogue of what have been a very tough year. All this left me emotionally drained and shocked and it took me some time to realize I had to react to her loss and start doing again the things I enjoyed doing before… Life goes on.

So here a little post listing my favorite photo editing actions I found on the web. These are actions I use often and hope you enjoy them too.

• Contrast Masking - This one was created by Sirnes Photography. Adds contrast to the image and really makes it pop out. Download it here.
• Mike Brewer’s Invariant Frame - Use it to nicely frame your images. I use it in my photoblog. Download it here.
• Dodging and Burning - It creates two adjustment layers, one for each effect. You paint on the layer masks in black or white. Download it here.
• Epaperpress set of actions - This package from Epaperpress site includes Black and white actions, Paint with light action, Purple fringe action, Tones, Filters, Frames and Effect actions. Download it here.
