Who are you?

I’m a 40 something Italian amateur photographer. Since several years ago photography went along with writing short-stories. I had a few stories published both on paper and online. Then my writing inspiration went totally dead… and photography became my preferred way of expressing myself. Since then, my photos have appeared in online magazines such as PhotoblogsMagazine and File Magazine and in publications (Abandoned Chairs project book and an upcoming book by Photoworkshops.com). Last year one of my photos was among the finalists at the 3rd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest and this year I was among the nominees at the Black and White Spiders Awards. More infos about me here.
Why this blog and why not in your native language?
I wanted to reach a wider audience for my photography works and thought a way of doing this could be having an English-speaking blog where to promote my art in the form of prints. Apart form self-promotion reasons, I’d like to write about myself and my relationship with photography.
Do you print your photos yourself?
No. ImageKind.com takes care of the whole process. ImageKind is a relatively new printing service for artists. It offers high quality prints along with framing and matting. You can visit my gallery by clicking on the logo at the bottom of this page.
Have a look at the Prints page for alternative ways of buying my prints.
